Google Fi is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) service by Google that provides telecommunications services using both Wi-Fi and cellular networks belonging to other operators.
What are the APN settings for Google Fi?
The APN settings for Google Fi are dependent on which network you are connected to: T-Mobile or Sprint. In general, you shouldn't need to change these settings if you're using a phone designed for Google Fi.

How to change the APN settings on Android
- Go to Settings
- Select Mobile networks
- Select Access Point Names
- Select the APN you want to edit or create a new APN
- Enter the APN settings provided by your carrier or Google Fi
- Save changes and enable the new APN

- Select Mobile Data Options
- Select Mobile Data Network
- Enter the APN settings provided by your carrier or Google Fi

How to check if you're using 5G with Google Fi
If you have a 5G-capable phone and are in an area with 5G coverage, your phone should automatically connect to the 5G network if the settings are enabled. To check if you're connected to the 5G network:
- Go to Settings
- Select Mobile networks
- Select Preferred network type
- If 5G is available, it should be listed as an option. Select it to connect.
A note on international roaming with Google Fi
If you plan to use your Google Fi phone while traveling internationally, make sure to enable international roaming in the Google Fi app beforehand. International roaming rates and availability vary by country and carrier, so it's important to check before you go.
